The GPSAssist.NET Main menu. From here you can perform the most
important functions like enabling or disabling POI Detection.

A POI Detection alert. in this case a POI of the type "Speed
50" has been detected and is 96 meters away from your current
location.

A speed Alert. In this case you have set the speed alert to a maximum
of 60 kmh. The alert apears because you are driving faster than
that.

On this panel you can select which POI files should be used for
the POI detection.

For each POI file you can define specific alert parameters and
warning sounds.

to your PPC while in the cradle or while connected to the internet
via GPRS or WiFi.

Sounds are also directly downloadable while on the road.

My Favorites or the POI files I am using frequently. Notice the
data of the last download.

This is what you would see when downloading favorites. Forget about
downloading files on your personal computer and then moving them
to your PPC. Do it while lying on the beach.

Define as many POI Sites as you want. POIAssist comes preconfigured
with the major available POI Sites like Pocket
GPS World and of course also the GPSAssist warning sound server.
